Not entirely true! In the Orthodox Chruch, to whom the Catholic Church belonged before the Great Schism, Byzantine Chant has never ceased to be used in the Divine Liturgy. We even have a special place reserved next to the alter for the Chanters. Gregorian Chant is beautiful and really places the listener "between Heaven and earth." But you should take a listen to Byzantine chant as well. The Trisagion and the Cherubic Hymn are absolutely breath-taking!

		<description>I wish I had known Padre Pio, and met him, he was and is a very holy man. He knew from the age of 5 yrs. he wanted to serve our lord and savior, and if his hands and the rest of his remains were incorrupt he is a saint. and by the grace of God he recieved all of his graces.</description>

		<description>I will be the first to admit that I fall into that deep dark pit of self loathing, and the only sound I hear is my nagging voice... That I am right and everyone is wrong.  How un-stressful my life would be if I could just 

“swift to hear, but slow to speak and slow to anger.” (Js. I, l9).</description>
