Fraternity Priest from Historic Southeast Indiana Addresses Culture, Convenience and Catholicism
Father Gerard Saguto of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter, recently spoke on “Culture, Convenience and Catholicism” at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church, Carmel, Indiana. Father Saguto is administrator of a traditional Roman Catholic parish which is one of the best kept secrets in historic Southeast Indiana. Folks drive from as far away as Lafayette, Indianapolis, Dayton, and Cincinnati to attend the Traditional Latin Mass on Sundays. Those families that getaway for the weekends and stay in bed & breakfast or hotel accommodations have found a wonderful way to round off their Sundays. What they find is an authentic Solemn High Mass that you would have experienced in the 19th up to the mid 20th centuries in Southeast Indiana.
